English Language and Literature Department welcomed an American guest lecturer from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Dr. Kritian D. Stewart, Ed. D. on August 28, 2024. 70 students attended the event as participants, 30 from the English literature study program and the rest from the English education study program. Delivered in the form of an hour talk show, the topic of this event revolved around life, culture and education in United States of America.
U.S. was home to over 350 of the world’s top universities, making it an attractive destination for higher education for students around the globe including Indonesia.
In the talk show, Dr. Stewart interacted with the students passionately answering their USA-related questions. It is expected that students will be able to gain a deeper understanding about the cultural and educational landscape in USA
